CARO FOLLOWER TI SCRIVO  

Domani sarà il giorno del grande ciao. Per un anno che passa e per uno che si scopre. Cammineremo in punta di piedi dentro nuove strade. Voltandoci ogni tanto perché i sentieri battuti, quelli che si conoscono, danno forza e sono la prova che abbiamo camminato. 

Con pfgstyle ho sperimentato percorsi alternativi, inventato temi. Come percepisco la moda lo avete visto, mi piacciono le storie e le mille sfumature dell'interpretazione. Così dopo 9 libri e una discreta attività giornalistica mi sono concessa il lusso di fare "la modella".     

Il 2013 per pfgstyle è stato un anno di grandi soddisfazioni e di progetti importanti. Come WriteWear, il concorso di scrittura e moda da noi ideato, in partnership per la quinta edizione con il Gruppo Zegna. Ma anche tante collaborazioni: MH WAY per esempio, Tense, Liz Earle, Geox, Istituto Modartech, Biblioteca della moda Igor Pallante, Giulia Boccafogli gioielli, Aiino, Fibrae, Roberta Guercini, Viola Vinca Luxury shoes, Bonsui, Superdry, Emanuela Paradiso, MariaGrazia Panizzi, tanto per citarne alcuni. 

E' stato anche un anno modaiolo e pieno di inviti: ricordo ancora il passaggio sul Red Carpet al Festival del Cinema di Venezia, il compleanno del gioielliere Fawaz Gruosi in Sardegna al Billionaire, la Fashion Week di Toronto, il soggiorno al Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni a Bellagio, la settimana al Grand Hotel di Rimini e tantissimi altri eventi e party. 

Il 2014 ci vedrà lavorare con una bella crew, molto intellettuale e assai scattante. Sarà un anno concettuale e sovversivo. Vi aspetto dunque al nostro fianco. Auguri meravigliosi, adorabili followers!!!.

Tomorrow is going to be the day of goodbye. One year will go by and another one new will begin. All of us will walk new street on tiptoe, turning around sometimes because combed paths are the ones that give you strength. I experimented new ways with pfgstyle and tried new themes. You all saw how I perceive fashion: I like stories and interpretations. So after nine book and my work as a journalist I allowed myself the luxury of "being a model". 2013 was a year of great satisfactions and major projects, like WriteWear in partnership with Gruppo zegna for its fifth edition. But it was also a year of collaborations: MH WAY, Tense, Liz Earle, Geox, Istituto Modartech, Biblioteca della moda Igor Pallante, Giulia Boccafogli gioielli,  Aiino, Fibrae, Roberta Guercini, Viola Vinca Luxury shoes, Bonsui, Superdry, Emanuela Paradiso, MariaGrazia Panizzi, just for saying some of them. 2014 will see me work with a new wonderful crew, intellectual and ready to battle. It will be a conceptual and subversive year. I am waiting for you, followers, to be by our side. For now I wish you an extraordinary new year.

L'arte del camminare, si chiama proprio così la nuova disciplina che unisce il pensiero all'attività motoria. E' nata un po' dagli scrittori e dal loro modo di percepire il presente. Ogni viaggio deve portar lontano, ma non è detto che il percorso si debba misurare in rotte. Ci si muove per scoprire, per apprendere. O anche per ritrovare. E così nascono i viaggiatori delle strade metropolitane, che fanno ogni giorno un viaggio diverso: nelle periferie che non conoscono, nelle strade parallele al centro storico, in un giardino comunale, in una villa ancora aperta. Si cammina annusando e con lo sguardo acceso, inebriati dal profumo di cibo che esce dalle finestre. Dalla legna accantonata vicino alla porta. Ci si muove lentamente, senza paura. Perché si torna a casa presto, con un bottino ricco di emozioni. Per un viaggio senza tempo e, vivaddio, senza alcuna foto.

The art of walking, is the new discipline that combines thought to fitness. It was born from the writers and the way they perceive the present. Every journey has to take you far away, but it isnot said that the path should be measured in routes. We walk to discover, to learn. Or even to find. And so are born the travelers of the metropolitan roads, which make every day a different journey: in the unknown suburbs, in the streets of the historic center, in a communal garden, in a villa still open. You walk sniffing and looking on, intoxicated by the scent of food that comes out of the windows. Everyone moves slowly, without fear. And come back home early, full of emotions. For a timeless journey and, thank goodness, no photos.

Facehunter è il ritrattista di facce. Detto così potrebbe sembrare quasi il titolo di un seriale, di quelli che ti fanno spaventare a morte. In realtà Ivan Rodic è l'uomo dei volti fashion, dello streetstyle, un Doisneau moderno che gira per le strade e scatta all'improvviso. 

Di questi ritratti ne ha fatti parecchi, talmente tanti da organizzarli nel libro Year in the life of Facehunter.

Questa foto me l'ha scattata proprio lui all'evento Geox, l'azienda lo ha coinvolto per raccontare, attraverso portraits la nuova collezione #geoxtour. Le tappe erano inserite nelle più importanti capitali europee: Parigi, Berlino,  Barcellona e infine Milano.

Facehunterportraits faces. This may sound almost like the title of a serial, the one that make you scared to death. In fact, IvanRodic is a man of many face:  fashion, streetstyle, like a modern Doisneau that runs through the streets and suddenly snapspictures. Out of his passion he made a book ' A year in the Life of Facehunter', Thames & udson publishers. He took this picture of me a the Geox event. The company hired him to tell through the portraits the new collection, in the most important European capitals Paris, Berlin and Barcelona and also Milan.
